County will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the completion <br /> of this project. <br /> 3. County agrees to notify the City of the successful bidder to whom the <br /> construction contract is to be awarded. <br /> 4. City agrees to reimburse County, on demand, for (a) the actual construction <br /> contract costs (including Contract Change Order costs) and (b) ten percent (10%) of the actual <br /> construction contract costs (including Change Order costs) for overhead expenses incurred by <br /> County for work on said City's facilities. <br /> 5. The estimated maximum fiscal obligation for work on said City's facilities is <br /> $33,000, unless authorized by City in writing. Any Contract Change Orders on the City's <br /> portion of the construction work will be subject to the written approval by the City. It is <br /> understood that the total sum to be reimbursed to County is to be determined from actual bid <br /> prices received and the estimate given is for informational purposes only. <br /> 6. County shall furnish primary construction inspection services for all phases of the <br /> project work. The Director of Public Works or his appointed representative shall be solely <br /> responsible for all phases of construction and inspection functions and liaison with the Project <br /> Contractor. In this regard, all communications and directions of City to the County's Contractor <br /> shall be directed through the County representative. City representatives shall have access to the <br /> work on City's facilities at all times, and without restriction, for the purposes of inspection of <br /> such facilities. The County and City representatives shall cooperate and confer to facilitate the <br /> performance of inspection duties incident to expeditious completion and acceptance of work <br /> performed by County's Contractor on City's facilities. <br /> 7. City shall have the option of not including work on its facilities within the <br /> ATTY/A6R/2013.096/COST SHARING AGREEMENT FOR SPRING STREET <br /> REV:06-21-13 VR <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br />
