1945-49 budget in the amount of $2733.97 with the thought in mind that they were 43 7 <br />part of the Post War Development Program, and not properly a charge to any current <br />tax roll. Councilman Holmquist offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by <br />Councilman Granger, and carried on roll call. <br />R E S 0 L U T ION No. 581 <br />CANCELLING A PORTION OF THE APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE POST WAR CAPITAL FUND <br />BY RESOLUTION No. 354 AND MAKING CERTAIN NEW APPROPRIATIONS FROM SAID FUND <br />e WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City did in Resolution No. 354, which <br />resolution was duly passed and adopted on the 26th day of August, 1947, make an <br />appropriation of the sum of $59,535.55 from the special fund for post war capital <br />projects for the purchase of certain equipment for the City and making certain public <br />improvements and the preparation of a master plan and park recreation plan; and <br />WHEREAS the sum of $b,955.46 has not been expended as provided for in said <br />resolution; and <br />WHEREAS it is the desire of the Council of the City of Redwood City to make <br />additional appropriations from said special fund for post war capital projects; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City as <br />follows: <br />1. That the following appropriations and unexpended balances under certain <br />appropriations made by Resolution No. 354 of the City of Redwood City be, and they <br />are hereby, cancelled: <br />Vehicle, Building Inspector $1200.00 <br />Equipment, Fire Department 256.04 <br />Equipment, Electrical 720.00 <br />Equipment, Engineering 377.55 <br />Improvements, Hawes Park 1201.29 <br />Improvements, Stafford Park 200.55 <br />Improvements, Yacht Harbor 3000.00 <br />$6955.46 <br />2. That the following appropriations be made from the special fund for post <br />war capital projects: <br />Fire Department Camera 470.00 <br />Vehicle, Building Inspector 1750.00 <br />Desk, Administrative Asst 150,00 <br />Loud Speaker System, Council <br />Chamber 363.97 <br />$2733.97 <br />3. That the balance of said special fund for post war capital projects, to <br />wit, the sum of 15,275.91, remain in said special fund for post war capital projects <br />subject to further appropriation by the Council of the City of Redwood City. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 7th day of June, 1945, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN,3PILLERS, SWIFT and Mayor WERDER. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: NONE <br />W.
