City Attorney advised that a conference had been held on this date (July 6th) calling for bids and would be published the following day, that the bids would be opened at the first meeting in August and award made at that meeting. Appraisal to be secured prior to that meeting. LETTER FROM CITY MANAGER OF JUNE 24th INFORMED THE COUNCIL OF EMERALD LAKE WATER SITUA- TION. Complaints had been received, condition seemed to be acute in this area. Mayor asked that a committee of three work on this and be authorized to work with the Emerald Lake District. He appointed Councilman Morgan to work with City Manager Rolison and City Engineer Jain and meet with representatives of the Emerald Lake District, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. CLAIMS Nos. 3896 to 3975 inclusive, in the amount of 09,799.91, having been checked in detail were submitted for payment. Councilman Granger moved that claims be paid, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. RESOLUT?ON No. 595. City Auditor's request for transfer of funds earlier in the meeting Tras at this time put in form of resolution, Councilman Granger offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried on roll call.
