Motion carried. <br />COUNCILMAN HOLMQUIST WAS INFORMED BY RESiDENTS in Lenolt Tract they would like to petition <br />for streets and sidewalks as soon as rainy season was over. City Engineer Jain <br />suggested this be put on agenda. <br />IT WAS ALSO SUGGESTED by'Councilman Holmquist that the City review some of their property <br />with the though6 or reserving same to build a district fire house which will be <br />6" needed In the future. Councilman Werder suggested that Mr. Perrin keep this in mind <br />the next time they go out to inspect tax deeded lots. <br />BUILDING AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS RECOMMEND removal of shed behind Sequoia Hotel and buildings <br />on old Poole property, 923, 927, 931 Jefferson. It was decided that City contact <br />the owners in effort to get them to remove buildings, rather titan start abatement <br />proceedings. Councilman Werder moved, seconded by Councilman,McNulty, that City <br />Clerk write to owners asking their cooperation and to remove buildings. Motion <br />carried. <br />Councilman Swift left meeting at 10:40 P. M. <br />R?.SULUTiON NO. 539. Councilman Werder offered resolution approving assessment diagram <br />(Resolution of Intention 1940-3) and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman <br />pw. McNul-Gy, and carried on toll call. Councilman Swift noted absent. City Attorney <br />6" Uurrie reported on time necessary to institute proceedings to submit Charter Amend - <br />went to voters in the coming April election. Necessary resolution should "be <br />adopted no -c less than 40 days prior to date of election. <br />R E S O L U T I O N No. 539 <br />APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM - <br />(RESOLUTION OF INTENTiUN 194b-3 - Resolution #379) <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, California, that <br />WHERhAS, pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Ordinance No. 333, the <br />Uity Engineer has prepared a diagram of the district and the properties benefited <br />by the construction of street improvements as were described in Resolution No. 379 <br />(Resolution of Intention 194b-3) to which reference is hereby made, and <br />WHEREAS, said diagram includes the same district and properties as were <br />declared benfited in Resolution No. T(6 adopted on August 19, 194b; and ` <br />WnEREaS said diagram was filed with the Cit Clerk and <br />6 y presented to the City <br />Uouncil on r'ebruary 2, 1949. <br />NOWs THEREFORE, TnE CITY COUNCIL Or' THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RESOLVES AS <br />•-, FOLLOWS: <br />1.
