W.UILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />REPRESENTATIVES OF YACHT HARBOR BEING PRESENT THE SUBJECT OF DREDGING was discussed and <br />the members will move the boats tnemselves when the work is to be done. One of <br />the members commented approvingly on the effort to obtain signal lights at Whipple <br />and Chestnut, the possibility of having Butcherfield for parking and felt that all <br />commuters would be grateful for both. <br />CLAIMS Nos. 2923 to 3021 inclusive, totaling in amount $23,b2b.70 were submitted for <br />Council's approval. Councilman McNulty moved, seconded by Councilman Werder, that <br />claims be paid, and carried. <br />Adjournment. <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 6th, 1945 <br />ON ROLL CALL THE FOLLOWING WERE PRESENT: Councilmen: C. A. Britschgi, Floyd D. Granger, <br />H. E. Holmquist, George W. McNulty, W. W. Hilton and City Clerk Ralph S. Dodge. <br />Also present were: City Manager E. A. Rolison, City Engineer Glen Jain and Assessor <br />Auditor John J. Brophy. <br />MAYOR HIL'i0N EXPLAINED THE PURPOSE of the special meeting was to approve and regularly <br />adopt the plans and specifications of the Municipal Sewage Treatment Project, and <br />any other business which may properly come before it. <br />CITY MANAGER E. A. ROLISON presented plans and specifications which were prepared by <br />Consulting Engineers Willis G. Frost and riarry N. Jenks. Plans and specifications <br />nave been checked by City Manager and City Engineer. <br />COUNCILMAN McNULTY OFFERED resolution and moved adoption approving and adopting plans <br />and specifications, seconded by Councilman Holmquist, and carried on roll call, <br />Councilmen Arthur V. Swift and Willian A. Werder noted absent. <br />RESOLUTION No. 539A <br />APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS AND SPEC IVICATIONS FOR A MUNIUIPAL SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL PROJECT. <br />RESOLVED by the Council or the City of Redwood City that the plans and <br />specifications of the Municipal Sewage Disposal Project as prepared by Willis G. <br />Frost ana harry N. Jenks, Consulting Engineers, checked and. presented by City <br />Manager E. A. Rolison ana City Engineer Glenn M. Jains, at a special meeting <br />held in the Council Chambers in *6he City Hall, Redwood City, California, be <br />approved and regularly adopted. <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption or the foregoing Resolution: <br />Councilmen: BRITS0hGI, GRANGER, HULMQUIS'T, MCNULfl, and Mayor HILTON. <br />NOES, and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE. <br />ppn <br />FOR <br />
