S. Dodge. Also present were: City Manager E. A. Rolison, City Engineer Glenn <br />Jain, Ci -Gy Attorney C. n. Currie, Police Chief C. L. Collins, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, <br />Assessor and. Auditor John J. Brophy, i3uilding Inspector L. M. Duncan, City Collector <br />Paul E. Perrin, Assistant Engineer H. L. Winter, Assistant Building Inspector <br />Stenhen Kreiss, Advisor Planning Commission Larry Wise, Inspector Public health and <br />Welfare Royal Hodge. Councilman George McNulty noted absent. Mayor Hilton <br />reported that Councilman 1vicNulty was ill and in the hospital. <br />APPROVAL OF MINTJTES: Minutes of the meeting of February 2nd and special meeting of <br />February 6th were ordered approved on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by <br />Councilman Swift, as mailed and carried. <br />LETTER FROM AI,!DR1131 SPLNAS, ST)PERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS, REQUESTED PORTIONS OF HILTON STREET <br />AND W1LLO1V STREET BE CLOSED as shown on accompanying map as all of Block 5, <br />Stambaugh Street addition and Lots 3A. 3B, 3C, and 3D of adjoining block are being <br />acquired by and will be added to the Hoover School site. On motion of Councilman <br />!verd.er this was referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation, seconded <br />by Councilman Holmquist, and carried. <br />PENINSULA DIVISION LEAGIt OF CALlFOR[TIA C1T-' ES DINNER MZE'T'ING at Dinah G Shack, Thursday, <br />February 19tn, was announced by City Clerk Dodge. <br />COM11UNICA`T'ION FROM CITY AUDI'T'OR BROPHY WAS READ RE: ASSESSMENT OF FRIENDLY ACRES. J. M. <br />Cleminshau, Company may consider working with City jointly to complete this assess- <br />ment for about q1350. No action being necessary at this time, it was suggested Mr. <br />Brophy have more time to work out details with Cleminshaw on the estimate and <br />assessments before making definite recommendations. <br />BAILEY BROS, CIRCUS, LOS ANGELES, APPLiCA'V'iON FOR PERMIT to conduct show for one day, <br />Tuesday, April 13tH, is to be granted on motion of Councilman Britschgi if complying <br />
