<br />RESOLVED by the City of Redwood City, that public interest and necessity
<br />require the acquisition by the City of Redwood City, a. municipal corporation of
<br />ti -le State of California, of an easement in, over, under and along the following
<br />described property:
<br />A parcel of land in the City of Redl,'ood City, County of San 14ateo, State of
<br />California, being, a portion of a certain Parcel b, described in Deed to.S. H. Frank
<br />Tanning Co. recorded, November 1, 1045, in Volume 1214, page 445, San Mateo Coi_inty
<br />records, said portion of Parcel b being; more particularly described as follot,Ts:
<br />SLGINNING at the intersection of the Nortr_erly line of Bayshore Highway as
<br />established by State Highway Survey about 1929 and the Northwesterly line of
<br />Steinberger Street which point is the most Southerly corner of abovementioned Par-
<br />cel b; THENCE N 310 00' E along the Northwesterly line of Steinberger Street b90.93
<br />feet (tree Northwesterly line of Steinberger Street being also tp_e Southeasterly
<br />line of Steinberger Street 1,01b.b2 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: THENCE N

<br />adjoining Steinberger Street and a strip 15.00 feet in width across Parcel b,
<br />between Steinoerger Street and Redwood Creek.
<br />Hr; I'r FUR1'::ER RESOLVED that said property is suitable, adaptable, necessary,
<br />and reouired for tele puf)lic use of said City of Redwood City, to -wit: for the
<br />construction of a drainage ditch and other public purposes. That an easement in
<br />all of the above described property is necessary.
<br />The City Attorney of said City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed
<br />to commence proceedings in eminent domain against the owners of said. parcels of
<br />lana anct of any and all interests therein or claims thereto for the condemnation
<br />ttlereof for the public use of the City of Redwood City, as aforesaid, and to obtain
<br />immediate possession and use of said property.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof meld on the loth day of February, 1948, by the following vote:
