<br />Councilman I'rerder moved that Council adopt a resolution declaring results of special
<br />election re -annexation of -.ort1-i Kensington Square and determining that the majority
<br />of Vie voters disapproved annexation. Motion was seconded by Councilman Britschgi
<br />and carried on roll call vote. Councilman Britschgi si.iggested a study of contract
<br />ti -le City holds wit'_I North Kensington Square Sewer District and that a report be given
<br />at the January 19th meeting of the Council. Councilman Granger, seconded by Council-
<br />man iicv lty, moved ordinance approving the annexation of South Kensington Seuare to
<br />t;1e City of Redwood City be introduced. I•Iotion carried.

<br />WHEREAS a special election submitting to the qualified voters of the hereinafter
<br />described territory the question of whether or not said territory should be annexed
<br />to, incorporated in, and made a part of the City of Redwood City, a municipal corpor-
<br />ation situated in the County of San i•Iateo, State of California, was regularly called
<br />and, liold on the 30th day of December, 1947. The said_ territory is referred to as
<br />north Kensington Square and is more pr.rticularly described as follows:
<br />WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City, did on the 5th day of Jan-
<br />uary, 1948, as required by law, duly and regularly canvass the returns of said
