P�oject <br /> de�elopment would require smergency potable water starage per City <br /> requirements. The infrastructure (e.g., water tank and distribution system) <br /> necessary to meet this requirem�nt has not be�n incorporated as a companent <br /> of the proposed �roject. <br /> Mitigation: Mitigation 'l0-9. Based on the projected emergency potable water storage <br /> requirement for the proposed project, #�e project applicant shall contribute the <br /> funds equi�alent ta the cost of providing 490 equivalent dwelling units (EDU) <br /> {$1.5 millian in 2011 dollars) of emergency potable water storage tawards the <br /> design and construction of the planned off-site areawide storage#acility. <br /> Finding: lmplementation of Mitigation 10-1 would reduce the praject impact on emergency <br /> potable water storage to a less-fhan-significanf Ievel. <br /> Facts in Support of Finding: Implementation of Mitigation 'f 0-1 would reduce the project <br /> impact on emergency potable water storage to a less-than-significant le�el <br /> through the appiicant's contribution of approximately$1.5 rnillion (in 2011 dollars} <br /> taward the City's piannsd off-site areawide storage facilify. These facts are <br /> describ�d in Drait EIR chapter 1Q (Utilities), section 10.1 {Water}, an �ages 10-1 <br /> through 10-15, and appendix 21.5 {Supplementai Public Utilities Information), <br /> which are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> rmpact: Impact 10-2: Increased Peak Wastewater Flows in the Local FOSM� <br /> Collection System. It is estimated that the proposed project development site's <br /> peak wastewater flows to the F05MD sewer system would be approximately 4.5 <br /> times the flow under existing (full occupancy} conditions, from 112 gallons per <br /> minute (gpm) ta fi27 gpm. Based on informatian pro�ided �y #he County <br /> Department of Public Works, it has not yet been confirmed whether the two <br /> existing sewer lines that would carry this increased wastewater flow acrvss the <br /> freeway have sufficient capacity to accommodate such an increase. <br /> Mitigation: Mi#igatian 10-2.
