Pat Dixon, Admiralty Court, Redwood City, asked the Directors to leave the auto dealership on that corner until Sequoia Station was completely leased, - as the dealership would bring people to the shopping complex. Redevelopment Agency Attorney Schricker stated that the Agency had tried to work with the owners and tenants of the subject property, as a middle ground, on an informal basis to no avail. Under the law the Board is required to offer an owner participation agreement to the parties involved. Mr. Schricker formally advised that the Board cease informal discussions at this point, and decide on the options provided by staff. In response to questions by Director Sanfilipo regarding resolutions of traffic problems, City Manager Everett advised that the Specific Plan was designed to answer these types of questions. Mr. Schricker stated he strongly recommended the Board not consider ownership issues and again called for the formal process to begin.
