Adopt Resolution No. 13-16 recommending that the City Council certify the Final <br /> Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Stanford in Redwood City Project and adopt <br /> CEQA Findings, Statements of Overriding Consideration for each significant <br /> unavoidable environmental impact identified in the EIR, and the Mitigation Monitoring <br /> and Reporting Plan, all in accordance with the requirements of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act. <br /> 2. Adopt Resolution No. 13-17 recommending that the City Council amend Article 52 of <br /> the Zoning Ordinance to provide for the ability to adopt alternative Planned Community <br /> procedures and findings for property subject to a Development Agreement. <br /> 3. Adopt Resolution No. 13-18 recommending that the City Council amend Article 60, <br /> Zoning Map No. 4 (Ampex Neighborhood) to rezone real property that is bisected by <br /> Broadway and generally bounded by Highway 101, Douglas Avenue, Bay Road, and <br /> Second Avenue (referred to in the Stanford in Redwood City EIR and Precise Plan as <br /> Blocks A-G) from the existing Industrial Restricted ("IR") zoning district to the Planned <br /> Community ("P") zoning district. <br /> 4. Adopt Resolution No. 13-19 recommending that the City Council approve the <br /> Stanford in Redwood City Precise Plan including guidelines, policies, and standards <br /> contained therein. <br /> 5. Adopt Resolution No. 13-20 recommending that the City Council approve the <br /> proposed Development Agreement between the City of Redwood City and Stanford <br /> University for Precise Plan Blocks A-E subject to the terms and conditions contained <br /> therein. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Proiect Description <br /> The 48-acre project area (also known as the Precise Plan Area or Campus), formerly <br /> Mid-Point Technology Park, is generally bounded by Highway 101, Douglas Avenue, <br /> Bay Road, and Second Avenue. The "Stanford in Redwood City" project is proposed by <br /> Stanford University to occupy a 35-acre portion of the project area, and is referred to in <br /> the Draft EIR and Precise Plan as Blocks A-E. <br />
