Mitigation Measure Cultural Resources -2 reduces
impacts to previously undiscovered archaeological resources by halting grading
and excavation work within 30 feet of the find(s) to allow the qualified
archaeologist to evaluate the find and make sure impacts to the cultural
resource(s) are avoided and a Cultural Resources Management Plan is prepared.
Impact 3.4-2 is described on page 3.4-7 of the Draft EIR and page 4-16 of the
Revised Final EIR, which are hereby incorporated by reference.
Impact 3.4-3
Impact: The project would have the potential to directly or indirectly destroy a unique
paleontological resource or site or unique geologic feature.
Mitigation: Mitigation Measure Cultural Resources -3: In the event that paleontological
resources or unique geologic features are discovered, construction shall cease in
18
