As Redwood City
residents, we were kept informed by individual land owners of the
Laurel Way Group and recently learned that Redwood City's Council
will be taking a decision on the project.
We are in favor of approving the EIR and allowing the Laurel
Way Group to build their individual homes as was initially
requested in the submitted PD.
On behalf of Laurel Way Joint Venture ("LWJV"), we would like to
note the following:
(1) The project followed CEQA in detail and adequately analyzed the
environmental impacts to Laurel Way and to the immediate
neighborhood.
(2) The CEQA analysis concluded that there are no significant impacts
(after mitigation).
(3) The opponents have been raising the same questions for 3 years and
those questions have been answered repeatedly for 3 years by Redwood
City's environmental experts. Nothing new was brought about.
