Each party agrees to, and shall, to the extent permissible <br /> by law, indemnify and defend the other, its governing body, boards, <br /> commissians, officers, employees and agents, from any claims, suits or <br /> actions at law or in equity for any damages or loss, whatsoever, <br /> caused or alleged to have been caused, by any of the aforesaid acts or <br /> omissions. <br /> IX. INTERPRETATION. This agreement shall be interpreted to <br /> insu�e the public against the creation and/or continuation of. <br /> conditions inimical to the public health, safety and general welfare. <br /> It shall likewise be interpreted and implemented consistently and in <br />`- conformance with the Treatment Capacity Rights Agreement, dated <br /> August 19, 1980, by and between City and County. <br /> X. INJUNCTIVE RELIEF. The parties expressZy agree that each <br /> and every term and condition of this agreement may be enforced by <br /> injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. <br /> XI . SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS. It is expressly understood and <br /> agreed by and between the parties hereto that this agreement may from <br /> time to time be revised, altered, amended or supplemented by written <br /> agreement approved and entered into by the parties hereto. � <br /> XII . TERM OF AGREEMENT.
