8.B. - Page 3 <br /> The Appellant claims that there has been no outreach to the neighbors for the <br /> P roj ect. <br /> The City has complied with all legal requirements for noticing and has provided <br /> outreach as follows: <br /> Initial PD Permit Application: <br /> • On June 23, 2011, a neighborhood outreach meeting was conducted by <br /> the Applicants on the subject property to provide an opportunity for the <br /> neighbors within the project vicinity (the City notifies property owners and <br /> tenants within 300 feet of the project site) to learn about the project and to <br /> discuss project-related concerns. <br /> • On January 31, 2012, a Notice of Intent to Adopt a Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration was mailed by the City to property owners and tenants, <br /> including the Appellant's address, within a 300-foot radius of the subject <br /> property. A copy of the notice was also published in the Redwood City <br /> Daily News on February 1, 2012. The notice announced the City's release <br /> of the IS/MND for the required 20-day public review period, between <br /> February 1 and February 22, 2012, to provide the public and responsible <br /> agencies an opportunity to submit written comments on the IS/MND (the <br /> review period was extended by one (1) additional day to accommodate the <br /> Presidents Day holiday). <br /> • On March 22, 2012, a public hearing notice for the April 3, 2012 Planning <br /> Commission public hearing was mailed to all property owners and tenants, <br /> including the Appellant's address, within a 300-foot radius of the subject <br /> property in accordance with the City's public hearing noticing <br /> requirements. A copy of the notice was also published in the Redwood <br /> City Daily News on March 23, 2012. <br /> • On April 3, 2012, a Planning Commission public hearing was held during <br /> which time was allotted for the public to provide comments on the Project <br /> and the IS/MND. No written comments or oral testimony was provided by <br /> the Appellant at that time. Attached for reference are the minutes from <br /> this hearing (Attachment 8). <br /> New PD Permit Application: <br /> • On June 21, 2013, a Notice of Public Hearing of the July 2, 2013 Planning <br /> Commission meeting was mailed to property owners and tenants, <br /> including the Appellant, within a 300-foot radius of the subject property in <br /> accordance with the City's public hearing noticing requirements. A copy of <br /> said notice was also published in the Redwood City Daily News on the <br /> same day. At this hearing, the Appellant provided oral testimony <br /> expressing her concerns regarding parking and traffic. Attached for <br /> reference are the minutes from this hearing (Attachment 9). <br />
