EXHIBIT"A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES.TIME SCHEDULE AND FEE SCHEDULE <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The City of Redwood City seeks professional services of an architect to upgrade two (2) <br /> elevator interior surfaces at the Marshall Street Garage. The project includes replacing glass <br /> windows and new surfaces that will provide more durable and vandal resistant materials. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant shall perform and provide the following: <br /> 1. Redesigning and updating the interior surfaces, include the glass windows, of two <br /> existing elevator cabs at the Marshall Street Garage. New surfaces will consist of <br /> more durable and vandal resistant materials than are currently in place and will be <br /> selected by the City. <br /> 2. Documentation of existing site conditions and facilities as they pertain to the scope of <br /> work. Scope is limited to what can be verified visually without excavation or removal <br /> of existing finishes, structures, equipment, or objects. <br /> 3. Preparation of Construction Drawings, utilizing existing documents, to describe the <br /> placement, extent and function desired by the City. <br /> 4. Preparation of Technical Specifications to describe the level of quality desired by the <br /> City. <br /> 5. Assistance with the preparation of a Final Project Manual, utilizing City provided <br /> Division 1specifications, for use in the bidding and construction process. <br /> 6. Preparation of an engineer's estimate for the project based on the drawings and <br /> specifications and utilizing third party cost estimating resources. <br /> 7. Design Meetings not specifically listed in the attached "Detailed Fee Proposal"will be <br /> billed as a separate reimbursable"not to exceed" expense. <br /> 8. Construction Administration services provided as a reimbursable, not to exceed, fee <br /> and will include limited site visits, RFI's responses, Submittals reviews and <br /> preparation of As-Built documents based on information provided by the General <br /> Contractor. <br /> In performing the above services, Consultant shall do the following: <br /> 1. Consultant shall review any existing drawings, specifications, surveys, reports, building <br /> standards and any other applicable information City may make available to Consultant, <br /> as it pertains to this site and the services. <br /> 2. Consultant shall be responsible for the coordination of specifications with the City and <br /> any Vendors/Contractors retained by the City. <br /> 3. Consultant shall provide1 set of original documents.
