<br /> . . , <br />- <br /> Housing Specialist Sheena summarized the history of this site and corrected the staff <br /> report advising that earlier negotiations between Lonestar, Raiser and the Agency ended <br /> when the parties could not agree on a plan for the site. <br /> Housing Specialist Sheena used overheads to identify the project area and described the <br /> owner participation process, the DDA process, and probable time lines. <br /> In response to the Board's questions, Executive Director Church advised that the <br /> recommendations before the Board were part of the initial phase of a long and slow <br /> process that might lead to a development on the Lonestar site. Director Church said this <br /> site was part of the Franklin Area Plan and was slated to be developed first. He agreed that <br /> developments which fTont on EI Camino Real would be designed as part of an integrated <br /> plan for all ofEI Camino Real. <br /> Chairman Hartnett called on speakers in the audience who wished to address this issue. <br /> Richard Hudson, 135 Maple Street, Redwood City advised he owned a business at 135 <br /> Maple Street, and stated for the record he wanted to be notified every step of the way <br /> during the proposed process. <br /> MEMO 12/10/96 <br />- <br /> Chairman Hartnett explained that there was not a development plan before the Board at <br /> this time, only a recommendation to offer an opportunity for owners, developers and <br /> others to work with staff on plans for the site. He stated that staff would stay in contact <br /> with Mr. Hudson. <br /> MEMO 12/10/96 <br /> Redevelopment Agency Attorney Schricker described the laws regarding Owner <br /> Participation Plans and notification.
