Typicallq, the Citp shall passivelp exclude or <br /> evict the raost site for two consecutive days. �f there is a period without construcrion acriviry <br /> within 10d feet of the bridges during the bat roosting season, an additional bat pre-construction <br /> survey shall be conducted. <br /> Responsible Party: City of Redwood Citp <br /> Mitigation Measure BIO 4: Install Exclusionary Fencing <br /> Priox to the onset of construct�on within 1db feet of Redwood Creek,the Contractox shall install <br /> exclusionary fencing axound the project area limits to prevent special-status species fxom entering <br /> the project area. During the installa�ian of wildlife exclusionary fencing,a qualified biologist shall <br /> monitor the area for any potential presence of endangered or special-status species. In the case an <br /> endangered or special-status species is found,the CDFW or USFWS shall be contacted for the <br /> appropriate procedures to follow for the proteciion of the specie�. <br /> Responsible Party: City of Redwood City oversight <br /> Mitigation Measure BIO 5: Employee Education and Awareness Trai+��na <br /> Prior to constniction of the pump starion and US 101 undercrossing,a professional biologist shall <br /> conduct an educarional prograrn for construction personnel. This program shall include the <br /> following: <br /> • Information on protected species and their habitats that are likely to be found on site; <br /> + Federal and state law requi�ements pextaining to these species; <br /> • Identification measures to be implemented to canserve t1�e potenrial species and habitats <br /> within the project area;and <br /> • Distriburion of an infarmative fact sheet to personnel wha may enter the project area. <br /> Responsible Pariy: City of Redwood City <br /> Mitigatian Measure BIO 6: Construction Mo�itoring <br /> A qualified biologist shall be present during vegetation clearing and initial g�ound disturbance <br /> adjacent to the banks of Redwood Creek and during installation of the cofferdam for the US 101 <br /> undercrossing.
