EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant will provide the CITY with Preliminary Engineering, Project <br /> Approval/Environmental Document(PABD) services for the improvements of the US 101/SR84 <br /> (Woodside Road) Interchange in the City of Redwood City in San Mateo County, California (the <br /> "Project"). This document describes the Consultant's Scope of Work, Milestone Schedule, <br /> Deliverables, and Assumptions. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of work is divided into 11 major tasks described as follows: <br /> � Task 1: Project Management <br /> '� Task 2: Project Initiation and Definition of Alternatives <br /> � Task 3: Traffic Forecast And Operational Analysis <br /> -=� Task 4: Engineering Technical Studies- <br /> '� Task 5: Environmental Studies <br /> !J Task 6: Environmental Document <br /> �'� Task 7: Project Report <br /> '�� Task 8: Assess Utility Impacts <br /> � �� Task 9: Right Of Way Services <br /> ,- ❑ Task 10: Community Outreach <br /> � �� Task 11: Value Analysis <br /> Task 1 -Project Management <br /> CONSULTANT will provide project management for each task for the entire duration of the <br /> Agreement schedule. Prior to start of any work, CONSULTANT will interface with Caltrans <br /> staff to assure format consistency of all deliverables. CONSULTANT will not perform any extra <br /> work without prior written authorization from the CITY. If changes in scope are identified <br /> during the course of the project, CONSULTANT will seek client approval befare performing any <br /> additional wark. A "Notification Form" would be prepared and submitted to the CITY that <br /> describes the change in scope,justification for the change, and cost and schedule impacts. Any <br /> potential increases to the scope of the proposed improvements (e.g. as a result of changes in <br /> standards and requests from Caltrans or other agencies) will be reported to the CITY and any <br /> changes to the project scope will not be made without CITY approval. CONSULTANT will also <br /> recard approved scope changes for future reference and report cost trends on a regular basis to <br /> the CITY.
