EXHIBIT "A"
SCOPE OF SERVIGES AND FEE
The following constitute the scope and fee terms for Amendment No. 1.
Truck Data and Analysis (Additional Services and Payment for Task 3 Traffic Forecast
and Operational Analysis of Agreement)
• Truck Data and Analysis (Counts)
• The work includes truck counts and classification surveys. The data to be collected
includes:
• Two (2) 7-day pneumatic tube FHWA classification counts along Seaport
Boulevard west of Seaport Court (eastbound and westbound directions counted
separately)
• Two (2) 7-day pneumatic tube FHWA classification counts along Seaport
Boulevard east of Blomquist StreeUE. This includes how the truck volumes vary over time (daily, monthly,
seasonally, annually) based on construction activities and economic cycles, truck
paths at the interchange and alternate routes (for both inbound and outbound
trucks), specific issues truckers face using the interchange and local streets
accessing it. We will also obtain truck projections and solicit their ideas regarding
improvements. The results will be discussed with the project team to determine the
level of truck activity to accommodate in the design process.
• The specific tasks are:
• 1. Fehr & Peers will develop a questionnaire to be distributed to the trucking
representatives. It will describe the purpose of the outreach effort and request data
to understand their existing and projected future truck volumes and travel
characteristics:
ATTY/AGR/2014/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.1 URS CORPORATION
REV:08-18-14 VR
