8.A. - Page 35 <br /> 47. The streets adjoining the project (Middlefield Road, Bradford Street, and <br /> Jefferson Avenue) shall receive an asphalt concrete overlay at the completion of <br /> improvements. Existing striping, markings, and legends shall be replaced in kind, or as <br /> modified by the City Engineer. <br /> 48. The applicant shall be required to secure adequate parking for any and all <br /> construction trades outside of Downtown Redwood City, unless or until the parking <br /> podium is available on the project site at which time any and all parking associated with <br /> construction trades shall be contained on the project site. <br /> 49. Upon approval of the final project design the applicant shall provide for the <br /> City's use a scaled model of the project or adequate funds to build the scaled model for <br /> purposes of adding to the City's scaled model of Downtown. The specifications for the <br /> model shall be determined by the Community Development Director, or his/her <br /> designee. <br /> 50. Pursuant to Section 66474.9(b) of the California Government Code <br /> and/or Redwood City Municipal Code Section 1 .54, Applicant shall defend, indemnify, <br /> and hold harmless the City, its agents, officers, and employees from any claim, <br /> action, or proceeding against the City or its agents, officers or employees, to attack, <br /> set aside, void, or annul an approval of the City, including but not limited to the City, <br /> and the City's agents, officers or employees, concerning the tentative map and/or <br /> development permit. The City shall promptly notify Applicant of any such claim, action <br /> or proceeding and shall cooperate fully in the defense. <br /> Section 8.
