The documents will show alternates as approved by you <br />and wiii caii for the contractor to diagnose the moisture migration causing faiiure of existing tiie <br />adhesion and propose mitigation before installation of new flooring. The documents will aiso caii for <br />the contractor to certify whether or not demoiition materials contain hazardous materials which <br />require approved removal techniques. <br />For the purposes of this proposal, we assume City projects do not require up to date path of travei <br />drawings. Shouid path of travel drawings be required, we wiii confirm the scope desired and quote a <br />fee to provide the services. <br />The Deliverable, <br /> Permit and contract documents. <br />Permit submittal and review <br />We assume appiication for a construction permit wiii be by city staff and the extent of our <br />invoivement wiii be to'respond to requests for ciarification or discussion of compiiance strategies. <br />Bidding process and review <br />We are assuming the expertise of city staff does not require our services to review and interpret bids. <br />Shouid our participation to review bids or alternate proposais be requested. we will participate on an <br />additional services basis. <br />Construction Administration <br />Upon commencement of construction, we will provide construction observation services on an on <br />caii basis. Again, in the interest of minimizing the cost of consulting services, we assume city staff has <br />the expertise to routinely monitor the contractor's progress and compiiance with the contract <br />documents. We have provided an aiiowance for our on-cali participation in the event of an <br />unanticipated field condition, or other issue on which you would want our participation. <br />The Process <br />. Attend project meetings and site visits. as requested, up to the aiiowance authorized. <br />.
