4.1.B. - Page 2 <br /> after the RFP process, staff recommends Smith-Emery to perform the as needed <br /> geotechnical inspection and material testing services and other type of special <br /> inspection and construction support for City's various utility infrastructure and urban <br /> facilities projects for an estimated 1,000 working hours within a two-year contract <br /> period. <br /> Smith-Emery will perform the above services as requested, and on an intermittent "on <br /> call/as needed" basis in compliance with the project plans and specifications.
