6.A. - Page 25 <br /> WHEREAS, on ,2013, the City Council of the City of <br /> Redwood City declared and designated the Histaric Property as a historic landmark <br /> pursuant ta the terms anc� provisions af C�apter 40, Historic Preservation of the <br /> Redwood City Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, City and Owner, fior their mutual benefi#, now desire to enter into this <br /> Contract both to protect and preserve the characteristics of historical significance of the <br /> Historic Property and to qualify the Historic ProperEy for an assessment of valuation <br /> pursuant to the pro�isions of Chapter 3, of Pa�t 2, af Division 1 of the Califarnia <br /> Revenue and Taxation Code. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, CITY AN� QWNER, in car�sideration of the mutual <br /> co�enants and conditior�s set forth herein, do hereby agree as foflows: <br /> 1. Effective Date and Term of Cantract.
