EXHIBIT"A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> CONSULTANT shall provide, at City's request and direction structural engineering services to <br /> evaluate the newly constructed box culvert for construction loading due to large 180,000 pound <br /> dewatering tanks and assist with ongoing efforts in developing staging concepts to aid in construction <br /> of the Crossing 900 Project. <br /> 0.1 The performance of all services by CONSULTANT shall be to the satisfaction of the <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br /> 0.2 All of the services to be fumished by the CONSULTANT under this AGREEMENT <br /> from the inception of the AGREEMENT until termination of the AGREEMENT shall <br /> meet the professional standards and quality which prevail among project and <br /> construction management consultants of similar knowledge and skill engaged in <br /> similar work throughout Califomia under the same or similar circumstances. All <br /> services performed by CONSULTANT shall be in compliance with all applicable <br /> federal, state and local codes, rules and regulations which are in force at the time <br /> such services are rendered. <br /> 0.3 CONSULTANT shall coordinate all services with and communications between the <br /> REDWOOD CITY's designated Project Manager, CITY's staff, including engineering <br /> and legal staff to ensure compliance with any city adopted standards ordinances that <br /> may affect the outcome of this effort. <br /> 0.4 CONSULTANT shall schedule and attend all meetings necessary, and as directed by <br /> REDWOOD CITY's designated Project Manager, in order to complete all services to <br /> the satisfaction of THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br /> 1.0 Services and Deliverables <br /> • Perform site visit as requested to coordinate with Contractor and Construction Manager <br /> • Evaluate construction sequencing loads for top slab of recently constructed culvert. <br /> • Provide alternate locations for existing culvert deck slab and construction sequencing, if <br /> necessary or as directed by City' <br /> 2.0 Comaensation <br /> CONSULTANT shall provide the aforementioned services on a time and materials basis not to exceed <br /> $6,000 per the attached rate sheet. <br /> REV: 11-19-13 VR <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2013.233/Cornerstone Structural Engineering Group/ Box Culvert- Crossing 900 <br />
