7.1.A. - Page 14 <br /> Per unit pricing for each street luminaire will include the cost of a street lighting audit <br /> for each HPS /LPS unit replaced. At a minimum, a street lighting audit will take into <br /> account pole height, arm length, length of travel, setback, approximate pole spacing, <br /> existing fixture type, existing wattage, control type, and other sources or contributions <br /> of light surrounding the unit. Audit to be performed, in person, by a qualified employee <br /> of LED street luminaire manufacturer, to ensure installation is in accordance with <br /> design criteria, maximum weather and corrosion conditions, and ensure lighting levels <br /> will be adequate to replace the currently installed system while reducing overall energy <br /> consumption. Contractor shall provide, to City or City designee, written documentation <br /> detailing product and model number to be installed at each light fixture based upon <br /> street lighting audit. Written documentation will be used by installer to determine <br /> appropriate product to be installed at each fixture. <br /> In addition, The City will require an undetermined number of compatible shorting caps, <br /> photocells, as well as various length arms for shoe box replacements. Due to the <br /> unknown quantity required for each arm length (ranging from 12" to 48 "), bidders will <br /> submit pricing on a 12" length. <br /> All pricing shall include the cost of the bid preparation and all contractual <br /> requirements. During contract term, pricing shall remain firm and fixed except in the <br /> case products become unavailable or are replaced by upgraded models. In the event <br /> that elements of this quotation become unavailable or obsolete and replaced by <br /> products with improved functionality, efficiencies, accuracies, etc., The City expects to <br /> receive "most favorite nation" pricing and is willing to entertain pricing changes. The <br /> City reserves the right to cancel the contract for any reason with thirty (30) days <br /> written notice. <br /> 12.2. Quantities and Pricing <br /> Redwood City does not guarantee to purchase any specific quantity of any item quoted <br /> during the period of this Agreement; and quantities may vary depending upon <br /> departmental needs. <br /> The quantities specified herein are good faith estimates of usage during the term of this <br /> Contract. The quantities may be increased or decreased as requirements dictate and <br /> The City shall pay according to the unit prices quoted in the proposal for the duration of <br /> the contract. <br /> After a contract is awarded, The City will issue incremental blanket purchase orders <br /> based on The City's LED installation schedule. <br /> Attachment A requires pricing based upon different quantity levels for both shoe box <br /> and cobra head replacements. Since The City makes no guarantee on actual quantity <br /> ordered, the initial price per unit will be that shown for 1 -500 units in Attachment A. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION 9 <br /> 2013 -2014 LED Street Luminaires <br />
