7.1.A. - Page 15 f and when unit 501 is purchased, the winning bidder will give The City a rebate <br /> for the difference between the 1 -500 unit pricing and the 501 -1000 unit pricing <br /> on all previously purchased units. <br /> • If and when unit 1001 is purchased, the winning bidder will give The City a <br /> rebate for the difference between the 501 -1000 unit pricing and the 1001 -1500 <br /> unit pricing on all previously purchased units. <br /> • If and when unit 1501 is purchased, the winning bidder will give The City a <br /> rebate for the difference between the 1001 -1500 unit pricing and the 1501+ <br /> unit pricing on all previously purchased units. <br /> Any rebates owed to The City will occur at the time unit 501, 1001, or 1501 is <br /> purchased and will be reflected immediately on the same invoice for said unit. <br /> 12.3. Guarantees <br /> The Proposer shall submit with the bid a copy of a written warranty for full <br /> replacement, including required parts and labor to replace, due to any failure of a <br /> street luminaire. All LED street luminaires shall be guaranteed by Proposer against <br /> defects in materials and workmanship for a period of at least one hundred and twenty <br /> (120) months from the date of shipment. Full warranty must cover housing, LED array <br /> and electronic driver. <br /> 13. Street Luminaire Requirements <br /> 13.1. General <br /> • Supplier will be a U.S. based corporation with no less than 10 years of <br /> experience manufacturing street luminaire fixtures for major municipalities, <br /> utilities, and DOTs. <br /> • Luminaire shall have an operating temperature range from 0°F to 150°F. <br /> • Luminaire must contain passive thermal management with no liquid or moving <br /> parts. <br /> • Luminaire must be constructed in such a way that a loss or failure of one LED <br /> will not result in the loss of the entire luminaire. If applicable, one sub -array <br /> failure will not result in loss of remaining array functionality. <br /> • L70 Reported Lifetime shall exceed 100,000 hours at an ambient temperature of <br /> 77°F. <br /> 13.2. Electrical <br /> • Luminaire shall operate at 120V or 240V, depending on location, and shall <br /> operate correctly over a voltage range from 95 to 277 V(ac). <br /> • Power supply shall have a minimum power factor of .90. <br /> • Total harmonic distortion shall not exceed 20 percent. <br /> • Luminaire on -board circuitry must include surge suppression devices to <br /> withstand high repetition noise transients caused by utility line switching, <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION 10 <br /> 2013 -2014 LED Street Luminaires <br />
