EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Phase 1. Strafie�ic Plannin�• <br /> Task 1. Project Management. <br /> Using information obtained from Phase 1, Tasks 2 and 4, the Draft Redwood Creek Deficiency <br /> Review report, and working with City staff, CONSULTANT wil) review each required repair, its <br /> location, how the work would be implemented, and photographs (if available) to determine if <br /> the work is outside of the jurisdiction of the regulatory agencies. if so CONSULTANT will make <br /> recommendations regarding how the work could be performed to avoid requiring a permit(s) <br /> from one or all of the environmental regulatory agencies. In addition, CONSULTANT will <br /> coordinate with client and other contractors regarding project status and needs through <br /> telephone calls, emails, meetings, and written documentation. <br /> The deliverable items are as follows: <br /> 1. Attend up to four(4j meetings with City staff to review required repair locations and <br /> implementation methods, discuss project issues and needs, discuss strategic plan to obtain <br /> permits and avoid complications. <br /> 2. Conduct one (1)site visit with City staff to review selected repair sites. <br /> 3. Prepare a table listing each of the required repairs that may be exempt from one or <br /> more of the environmental regulatory agencies. <br /> 4. Prepare a project schedule and update as necessary. <br /> 5. Phone calls,emails and written documentation to discuss information related to the <br /> application process. <br /> 6. if required, attend one(1) meeting with the City staff and regulatory agency staff to <br /> discuss issues related to the Project. <br /> Task 2. Preliminary Jurisdictional Delineation. CONSULTANT will conduct a field investigation <br /> of Redwood Creek and its tributaries to prepare a determination of the geographic extent of <br /> wetlands and other jurisdictional aquatic resources (e.g., ordinary high water mark). <br /> CONSULTANT will conduct the technical evaluation in accordance with USACE regulations, <br /> required 1987 methoddlogy, and guidance documents based on current and historical land use <br /> conditions. CONSULTANT shall locate each wetland or other water of the United States <br /> (WOUS) potentially subject to USACE jurisdiction, in the fietd using a Trimble Pathfinder XRS <br /> GPS unit with real-time beacon correction (accuracy <50cm� unless reception of position <br /> location data from satellite transmission is obscured by overhead vegetation or structures. <br /> CONSULTANT shall determine the limits of jurisdiction within covered concrete box culverts <br /> visually at the inlet or outlet of each culvert and document such limits on a field map. <br /> R EV:O1-06-1415 <br /> Page 30 of 17 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2014.003/HBG Redwood Creek Permitting <br />
