CONSULTANT shall enter all field data taken regarding vegetation, soil, and hydrology <br /> conditions observed during the delineation process on USACE Arid West-Wetland <br /> Determination Data Forms CONSULTANT shall digitally format al) such information and forms <br /> and data link them for use in ARCINFO and Microsoft Excel. Areas identified as wetlands or <br /> other WOUS will be mapped onto a scale base map. CONSULTANT shall prepare a base map <br /> consisting of a color orthorectified aerial photograph and, if avallable, engineer levei <br /> topographic mapping (digital version to be supplied by the project engineer). CONSULTANT <br /> shall review all areas identified as wetlands/WOUS with respect to possible exemption from <br /> USACE jurisdiction based on USACE regulations. CONSULTANT will submit the preliminary <br /> jurisdictional delineations to the USACE and request a Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination <br /> verification. <br /> The deliverable items are as follows: <br /> 1. Conduct two (2)days of field work. <br /> 2. Draft preliminary jurisdictional delineation map to client for review. <br /> 3. Submit final preliminary jurisdictionai delineation map to USACE forverification. <br /> Task 3. Coordinate USACE Preliminary lurisdictional Determination Process. CONSULTANT <br /> will coordinate with the USACE, as necessary, during the Preliminary Jurisdictional <br /> Determination process. Coordination tasks may include a site visit with USACE staff and <br /> modifications to the delineation map, CONSULTANT wili coordinate all aspects of jurisdictionai <br /> determination process with the client and/or designated representative. <br /> The deliverable items are as follows: <br /> 1. Monthly phone call or email updating client on progress with obtaining preliminary <br /> jurisdictional delineation map. <br /> 2. Attend one(1)onsite meeting with the USACE to verify the extent and location of <br /> jurisdictional wetlands and waters. <br /> 3. Edit jurisdictional delineation map if requested by the USACE. <br /> Task 4. Environmental Assessment. CONSULTANT will cpnduct an environmenta) assessment <br /> and prepare a ESA Biological Assessment Report necessary to initiate a consultation with the <br /> USFWS and/or NMFS pursuant to Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act related to potential <br /> impacts to federally listed species that could result from the project. The ESA Biological <br /> Assessment will also include documents necessary to initiate an Essential Fish Habitat <br /> consultation with the NMFS pursuant to the Magnuson—Stevens Fishery Conservation and <br /> Management Act. <br /> The deliverable items are as follvws: <br /> 1. Conduct one (1)onsite visit. <br /> 2.
