EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will provide current and long range professional planning services to the City <br />of Redwood City under the direction of the Community Development Director. <br />Senior Planner <br />Consultant will provide a Senior Planner approved by the City's Planning Manager on an <br />as -needed basis during the term of the Agreement. The Senior Planner will process <br />planning entitlements for large scale and complex development projects including <br />planned community permits and conditional use permits; long range planning projects <br />including but not limited to general plan and zoning code amendments; design review; <br />and manage City consultants for the preparation of Mitigated Negative Declaration and <br />Environmental Impact Reports, assigned by the Community Development Director, <br />Planning Manager, and Principal Planner consistent with the duties of the Redwood City <br />Senior Planner job description provided below. General supervision of this position would <br />be provided by the Planning Manager and Principal Planner. <br />Senior Planner $106/hour effective 7/1/17 <br />$110/hour effective 7/1/18 <br />Mileage Current IRS rate <br />Expenses Direct billing <br />City of Redwood City <br />Senior Planner <br />Definition <br />To provide responsible and technical staff assistance in planning and development <br />matters; to facilitate application for planning permits through the Zoning Administrator or <br />Planning Commission; to provide information to the public on planning -related matters; <br />and to prepare a variety of planning reports and documents. <br />Supervision Received and Exercised <br />General supervision is provided by the Planning Director or Principal Planner. <br />Assignments may include technical or functional supervision over subordinate planning <br />positions. <br />Examples of Important and Essential Duties <br />1. Assume substantial responsibilities for current planning duties. <br />2. Respond to inquiries regarding zoning and subdivisions; review applications for <br />compliance to ordinances. <br />3. Attend Planning Commission meetings; provide staff support; prepare the agenda <br />for these meetings. <br />4. Prepare environmental impact reports and a variety of other planning -related <br />reports. <br />5.
