7.1.A. - Page 2
ALTERNATIVES
1. Council may direct Staff to revise the Recycled Water Service Area Map prior to
adoption.
2. Council may elect to not adopt the revised Recycled Water Service Area Map at
this time.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no direct fiscal impact to the City or the Water Enterprise Fund should the
resolution be adopted.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The City has determined that preparation of an Addendum to the Mitigated Negative
Declaration pursuant to Section 15164 of the CEQA Guidelines is the most appropriate
method for consideration of the proposed Recycled Water Service Area Map update.
Expansion of the Recycled Water Service Area does not include approval or
construction of any new recycled water facilities within the Service Area. When new
recycled water facilities are proposed within the expanded Service Area, they will
undergo their own CEQA evaluation at that time. Construction of new recycled water
facilities in one part of the expanded Service Area, known as the Stanford in Redwood
City Project, has received CEQA clearance through the Environmental Impact Report
certified for that project by City Resolution 15295.
2$€'14
JUSTIN L.
