MINUTE ORDER 13-078 <br /> A Council Member addressed the various speakers thanking them, the public, the <br /> Committee Members and all the organizations present for their work and support. <br /> Another Council Member thanked the Committee and staff noting that this is not easy <br /> with everyone being deserving with heart-wrenching needs, and that a tremendous <br /> amount of work is done to transform lives. All the Council Members thanked the staff, <br /> with some mentioning Ms. Coffman and Ms. Chin by name, the Committee, and the <br /> community partners. Vice Mayor Gee also added his appreciation of the work done and <br /> noted that some unspoken things include the math and how funding is leveraged <br /> multiple times over in the City, San Mateo County and the Region. The list of applicants <br /> selected for consideration includes: Margaret McDonough Becker, Richard <br /> Hunter and Anne Palu. <br /> By roll call vote the City Council appointed Rick Hunter to the unexpired seat on the <br /> Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission with five votes in favor <br /> (Council Members Foust, Ira, Pierce, Seybert, and Vice Mayor Gee).
