Mr. Ponty, Finance Director, mentioned to Council that earlier there was a Study Session on both items 7A and 7B. He asked that Council open the Public Hearing and adopt both resolutions. He stated that the only change to the budget was the addition of the one-time money of $250,000 to the General Fund as per Council Member Ira's request. This would help the City Manager with organizational changes and efficiency initiatives for the FY 2013- 2014. Furthermore, Mr. Ponty requested Council to open a public hearing and adopt the Successor Agency budget as well. The Mayor opened the public hearing. There was no public comment. M/S Gee/Seybert to close the Public Hearing. Motion carried 4-0 by voice vote with three Council Members absent (Foust, Ira, and Pierce). M/S Seybert/Gee to approve the City Council budget resolution. Recommendation: Adopt, by resolution, the Fiscal Year 2013-14 Budget.
