Leslie Webster urged Council to include Pete's Harbor into the Inner Harbor Precise <br /> Plan now that Ms. Uccelli terminated her leases with the State Lands Commission. <br /> Buckley Stone, a resident of Pete's Harbor, told his story concerning the last couple of <br /> weeks and what has been happening at the harbor with security guards. Mr. Stone <br /> moreover opined that with the future development, the waterfront view would be lost <br /> and sea life would be eliminated. <br /> Alison Madden referenced the Waterway Act in 1983 and urged that the City include the <br /> Smith Slough in the Inner Harbor Precise Plan. She said that she would like the City to <br /> take a stand on these issues that nothing is irreversible. Also, she mentioned that they <br /> were not against the building of the wall at all. In addition, she mentioned that no work <br /> plan had been produced. Ms. Madden also said that the Docktown rules and <br /> regulations violated the United States Constitution's 2"d Amendment. <br /> Wendy Stone, resident of Pete's Harbor, doesn't like the fence around the area or the <br /> guard. She would like the marina to remain open. <br /> James Lee advocated for Pete's Harbor to be included in the Inner Harbor Specific <br /> Plan. Moreover, he voiced his concern that Smith Slough, which is for the public, isn't <br /> accessible to hikers and bikers. Also, Mr. Lee asked Council to investigate the security <br /> issues that are going on there. <br /> Shauun Cartwright stated her concern that allegedly kayakers were told by security to <br /> stay 100 yards away from the harbor, which she believed that area to be a public water <br /> way. She also shared her frustration that the State Lands Commission raised issues, <br /> which according to her only then did the Council listened to this matter. <br /> Mark Leach, with the Electrical Workers of San Mateo County, thanked the Council for <br /> allocating redevelopment funds to affordable housing and the community benefit <br /> agenda. He said that on behalf of the construction workers, including the electrical <br /> workers, they are ready to participate in the process. <br /> Joshua Hugg, Program Manager for the Housing Leadership Council, thanked Council <br /> for making a commitment to affordable housing. He said that he looked forward to <br /> working with the Council regarding the Public Benefits program. <br /> Diana Ready from the Local Housing Committee thanked Council for moving <br /> redevelopment funds to affordable housing. She highlighted that the analysis in the <br /> staff report indicated that only few projects mentioned low housing. Therefore, she <br /> recommended that low and extremely low housing be addressed. <br /> Nancy Radcliffe stated that the Fourth of July was next week, and Ms. California would <br /> be making her first a�pearance.
