Jana Kiser, the new Executive Director of Redwood City 2020, introduced herself to the <br /> Council and the public. She briefly described that Redwood City was a collaboration of <br /> various groups working together on complex issues. Ms. Kiser said that they have <br /> programs that help students, from kindergarten through senior year in high school, so <br /> they can thrive and do well. She looked forward to partnering with the City Council. <br /> One of the Council Members involved with Redwood City 2020 welcomed Ms. Kiser and <br /> looked forward to working with her. <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Waive reading of the consent calendar and the full text of ordinances <br /> and resolutions, and approve the Consent Calendar items. <br /> M/S Seybert/Gee to move the Consent Calendar. Motion carries 4-0 by electronic <br /> vote, with three Council Members absent (Foust, Ira, Pierce). <br /> Dr. Bell addressed agenda item 6.1.D, noting the description used in the staff report <br /> "low and moderate" was related to the name of the fund from the former redevelopment <br /> agency, but the staff report later mentions that included are low and very low income <br /> levels. Furthermore, he noted that in regards to the Inner Harbor there is a community <br /> visioning process and the whole community should have a chance to express its views. <br /> Dr. Bell addressed the comments some audience members made, stating that Pete's <br /> Harbor was not in the Inner Harbor area. He said that based on the community vision it <br /> would have to be rezoned if Pete's Harbor was to be included. Dr. Bell said that staff will <br /> continue communicating statuses of Docktown matters and Inner Harbor visioning <br /> process. <br /> 1. Section - Motion(s) <br /> A.
