EXHIBIT "A" <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. <br /> Sequoia Station Environmental Analysis <br /> 2013-2014 <br /> Introduction: The proposed work from Groundwater and Environmental Services, Inc. <br /> (GES) shall consist of providing the environmental analysis required regarding the <br /> Perchloroethylene (PCE) groundwater plume in the area of the Sequoia Station <br /> Shopping Center property. <br /> The proposed work includes: <br /> 1. Performance of site reconnaissance and inventory of existing ground water <br /> monitoring wells <br /> a. Perform reconnaissance of the PCE plume area on and near the Sequoia <br /> Station Shopping Center; including Roy's Cleaners <br /> b. Attempt to locate groundwater monitoring wells shown on site plans in the <br /> various existing environmental reports <br /> c. Check the condition of wells to assess how many of the wells are still <br /> accessible can be sampled <br /> d. Mark the site plans with above findings <br /> e. Evaluate site constraints with respect to installing additional wells, if <br /> needed and conducting groundwater remediation activities <br /> 2. Review of available environmental and conceptual remediation planning <br /> documents <br /> a. Review available environmental documents prepared by consultants for <br /> Safeway, the City and Roy's Cleaners <br /> b. Check the RWQCB's Geotracker website for other recent environmental <br /> documents that may have been posted there for the site vicinity <br /> 3. Development of data gap investigation plan and proposal of remediation <br /> approach <br /> a. Asses data gaps and evaluate if additional investigation is required <br /> b. Prepare a Conceptual Site model (CSM) to help guide remediation <br /> planning and develop a proposed remediation approach for the site <br /> 4. Prepare Workplan for additional activities <br /> a. Prepare a workplan for review and comment from the City <br /> b. Finalized draft workplan and submit to RWQCB staff for review and <br /> approval <br /> 5. Consult results with the City and RWQCB <br /> a.
