MIS: HARTNETT/LEIPZIG TO REMOVE THIS ITEM FROM CONSIDERATION AT THIS TIME AND RESCHEDULE IT TO THE NEXT REASONABLY AVAILABLE COUNCIL MEETING In response to Council Member Leipzig's questions regarding a public hearing, Council Member Hartnett said his motion was intended to provide an opportunity for public discussion, and that the term "public hearing" had a legal meaning which required a formal notification, which probably wasn't indicated in this case. In response to Council Member Leipzig's questions, City Attorney Schricker said there was no legal requirement for a public hearing. Council Member Bain said he agreed with Council Member Hartnett that the public had probably not been sufficiently notified of this proposal, and agreed that it should be scheduled as a regular agenda item. - ITERATION OF THE MOTION MIS: HARTNETT/LEIPZIG TO REMOVE THIS ITEM FROM CONSIDERATION AT THIS TIME AND RESCHEDULE IT TO THE NEXT REASONABLY AVAILABLE COUNCIL MEETING CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE.
