I . . - In response to Mayor Howard's comments, Senior Planner Passanisi said, "There were representatives from the Redwood Shores Home Owners Association - at the Planning Commission meeting, including Carole Ford and LaVerne Atherly. They received copies of the packet." He said he would provide the information to Ms. Jordan as well. Council Member Hartnett said that Vice Mayor Ruskin, who was too ill to attend the meeting, asked him to relay his preference regarding this issue. He said that Vice Mayor Ruskin would like his colleagues to consider Ms. Jordan's request and delay action on this item until the March 16 meeting, so the Redwood Shores Home Owners Board could formally review the issue. Council Member Hartnett said he supported that request and said a delay until the March 16 meeting would not negatively impact the project. In response to Council procedural questions, City Attorney Schricker advised if the Council wished to postpone action on the item, it would be best to continue the open public hearing until 7:30 p.m., March 16.
