He asked that in the meantime, <br /> City staffbe directed "not to sign off on the issuances of any revenue bonds." <br /> Mayor Howard agreed, and said this matter would be coming back to Council for review. <br /> MEMO 3/3/98 <br /> B. Council Member Ira reported on the meeting he and Council Member Claire had at <br /> Chuck Eudy's house discussing the traffic flow in Redwood Shores. He said it was a very <br /> productive meeting, and they strongly supported installation of some stop signs. He said <br /> this subject would be discussed at the March 16, 1998 Council Meeting. <br /> Council Member Ira reported on the meeting he attended regarding development in Tidal <br /> Plain areas in Redwood Shores. He said a large contingent of people from Redwood <br /> Shores had attended, and they would be working in conjunction with the committee ITom <br /> SBSA. He complimented Senior Planner Passanisi for an excellent job in organizing that <br /> meeting, and said it looked as if the committee would meet its goals. <br /> C. Mayor Howard thanked Pat Dixon for donating the many pussy willow plants that <br /> beautify City Hall. She also complimented Ms. Dixon on her beautiful garden. <br /> Mayor Howard reported that the "Redwood City Comes Alive" kick off celebration held <br /> on February 27 at Forester's Hall was a huge success with over 500 tickets sold. She said <br /> it was sponsored by Redwood City 2000 and the Downtown Business Group and raised <br /> over $5,000, which will be matched by Redwood City 2000, for future activities in the <br /> downtown. <br /> Mayor Howard said that on March 8, 1998, she and a delegation ITom the Port of <br /> Redwood City, the Redwood City Art Group, and Redwood City International are <br /> journeying to Colima, Mexico, to officially sign the Sister City Pact with its government <br /> officials.
