' <br /> "Subdivision: The division of any improved or unimproved <br /> land , shown on the latest equalized County assessment maps <br /> commencing March 1 , 1978 , for which there is evidence that <br /> the division was legally created , officially approved by <br /> the City of Redwood City, and supported by a recorded deed , <br /> as a unit or as contiguous units , for the purposes of sale , <br />
