Effect of Filing Reversion Map With <br /> the County Recorder. Reversion shall be effective upon the <br /> parcel map or final map being filed for record by the county <br /> recorder. Upon filing, all dedications and offers of dedica- <br /> tion not shown on the parcel map or final map for reversion <br /> shall be of no further force and effect. <br /> "Section 30 . 111 . Merger of Subdivided Lands . Subdivided <br /> lands may be merged and resubdivided without reverting to <br /> acreage by compliance with all the provisions of this chapter <br /> and the provisions of Section 66499 . 20-3/4 of the Government <br /> Code. <br /> Article IX. Design Standards . <br /> "Section 30 . 114 . Purpose , Modifications . It is hereby <br /> declared that the design standards herein set forth are <br /> intended to be the minimum acceptable design standards for <br /> all divisions of land; provided , however , that if the <br /> appropriate Advisory Agency finds that a greater or lesser <br /> standard proposed by the subdivider would be in the public <br /> interest, it may approve such modification to these standards . <br /> The burden of proof as to whether the public interest would <br /> be so served by a proposed modification from the adopted <br /> standards shall lie with the subdivider . <br /> "The purposes for these standards are as follows : <br /> " (a) Promotion of public safety; <br /> " (b) Implementation of applicable general plan goals , <br /> principles , and standards ; <br /> 5.9 <br />
