SECTION 29. Section 33 . 11 of the aforementioned ordinance is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 33 .11 Extension of Nonconforming Structures. <br /> (a) No nonconforming structure being used for a nonconforming <br /> use shall be enlarged, extended, or structurally altered <br /> unless a use permit is granted for such changes. To grant <br /> such a permit, the Zoning Administrator shall first find that <br /> the extension is necessary to the public welfare. <br /> " (b) A nonconforming structure being used for a conforming <br /> use may be enlarged, extended or structurally altered if the <br /> new portion conforms to the regulations of the district in which <br /> located and if the permitted lot coverage is not exceeded by <br /> the combined structure. " <br /> SECTION 30. Section 33. 16 of the aforementioned ordinance �s <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 33. 16 Removal of Noriconf�rming Structures. <br /> Any structure which does not conform to the regulations of the <br /> district in which it is located, and which had an assessed <br /> valuation of $1, 000 or less at the time it became nonconforming, <br /> shall be removed or altered or reconstructed to be structurally <br /> conforming, within five years from the time the structure <br /> became nonconforming. The Zoning Administrator shall cause <br /> notice to be given to the owners of any such structure at <br /> least one year prior to the time removal or alteration is <br /> required to be completed and removal or alteration shall not <br /> be required to be completed until such one year period has <br /> lapsed, The Zoning �dministrator shall cause such notice to <br /> be recorded. " <br /> SECTION 31. Section 33 .17 of the aforementioned ordinance is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> ^20^ <br />
