Section 48 . 6 of the aforementioned ordinance is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 48 . 6 Public Hearing. No public hearing need <br /> be held on appeals; provided, however, a public hearing may <br /> be held if deemed necessary in the public interest by the <br /> City Council and shall be held if the appeal is from any <br /> action of the Commission taken pursuant to Article 41 . " <br /> SECTION 71. Section 50. 1 of the aforementioned ordinance is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> '°Section 50. 1 Enforcement. (a) Responsibility for <br /> the enforcement of this ordinance shall be with the Zoning <br /> Administrator, under the direction of the Planning Director. <br /> All officials, employees, and departments of. the City shall <br /> assist the Zoning Administrator and shall issue no permit, <br /> certificate, or license for any use, building, structure, or <br /> purpose in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> " (b) It shall be the responsibility of the Building <br /> Official to enforce the provisions of this ordinance in <br /> connection with the issuance of permits for the erection, <br /> construction, moving, alteration, or reconstruction of any <br /> building or structure. <br /> " (c) Every permit, certificate, or license issued by <br /> any official, employee, or department of the City in conflict <br /> with the provisions of this ordinance shall be null and void. " <br /> SECTION 72. Section 51. 1 of the aforementioned ordinance is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> -39- <br />
