FILE 2383 <br /> Background <br /> On July 14, 1982 The Price Club received a Use Permit for the develop- <br /> ment of their land ad�jacent to and south of Middlefield Road between <br /> Manzanita Street and Charter Street. <br /> The conditions of the Use Permit require the granting of an ingress <br /> and egress easement between Manzanita Street and Charter Street and <br /> the dedication of street right-of-way for a right-turn lane from <br /> N:iddlefield Road to the property. Also additional street right-of- <br />_ way dedication was required for the construction of the Charter Street <br /> and Middlefield Road intersection. <br /> _ <br /> ummary — <br /> The Price Club completed the plans and specifications� for construction <br /> and they submitted the offer of dedication for the ingress and egress <br /> easement and for the street rights-of-way. <br /> Conclusion <br /> The required easement and right-of-way are necessary to accommodate <br /> the traffic which will be generated by the proposed re�ail establish- <br /> ment. , <br /> Recommendation ' <br /> It is recommended that the City Council accept the i gress and egress <br /> easement and the right-of-way dedication for treet urposes. <br /> —�—.�e �• <br /> Director of Public orks C y Manager <br /> FJA/CC/fel <br />
