<br /> � RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR
<br /> ; DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND �.�
<br /> RESCINDING R�SOLUTION NO. 7030 -
<br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of
<br /> # California requires that deeds or grants conveying an interest in real
<br /> property to political corporations must be accepted by the grantees prior
<br /> � to being recorded; and
<br /> !
<br /> � WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an officer or
<br /> � agent may be designated by the political corporation to accept such deeds
<br /> on its behalf; .
<br /> � NOW, THEREFORE; .
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> l. That Jacqueline C. Hildebrand, City Clerk of the City of Redwood
<br /> � City, be and she hereby is authorized to accept, on behalf of the City of
<br /> Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement
<br /> upon real estate to the City of Redwood City. '
<br /> � 2. That Resolution No. 7030 , adopted October 15, 1973, by the
<br /> � Council of the City of Redwood City, is hereby. rescinded. �
<br /> jPassed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a
<br /> � regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of January, 1974 , by the
