ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 14-03 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY GRANTING APPROVAL OF A <br /> TENTATIVE MAP AND PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT THE <br /> 318-330 WEST OAKVVOOD BOULEVARD PROJECT <br /> PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE AND ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> WHEREAS, Grove Construction ("Applicant") proposes to subdivide two <br /> existing parcels totaling 44,114 square feet into six parcels at 318-330 West <br /> Oakwood Boulevard, The proposed application includes the construction of a <br /> 31.5-foot wide privately owned, publically accessible street (Le. Rossi Lane) with <br /> new underground utilities serving the six new parcels. The new parcels #1, 2, 4, <br /> & 5 will each total 7,108 square feet, Parcel #6 will total 7,563 square feet, and <br /> Parcel #3 will total 8,212 square feet (the "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City <br /> ("Planning Commission") is empowered by Chapter 30 (Subdivision) of the City <br /> of Redwood City Municipal Code to act upon applications for Tentative Parcel <br /> Maps and is empowered by Article 46 (Planned Development Permits) of the City <br /> of Redwood City Zoning Ordinance to act upon applications for Planned <br /> Development Permits; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 4, 2014, the Planning Commission conducted a <br /> duly noticed public hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the <br /> Redwood City Municipal Code, and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to <br /> consider Tentative Map Application No. TM2013-05 and Planned Development <br /> Permit Application No. PD2014-01, and received and considered oral and <br /> documentary evidence in favor of or opposed to the application; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposed <br /> Tentative Map and Planned Development Permit would further the purposes of <br /> and appropriately implement the City of Redwood City General Plan, applicable <br /> provisions of the Redwood City Municipal Code and Zoning Ordinance, and the <br /> six parcels at 318-330 W. Oakwood Boulevard. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the above recitals are <br /> accurate and, together with the Staff Report and the application materials, <br /> including without limitation the Tentative Map, Planned Development Permit, and <br /> all other documents, reports, studies, memoranda, maps, oral and written <br /> testimony, and materials in the City's file for the applications and the Project, and <br /> all adopted City planning documents relating to the Project and the property <br /> including the City's General Plan, Municipal Code, Zoning Ordinance, and other <br /> ATTY/RESO 2963/PC RESO APPROVAL OF A TENTATIVE MAP&PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT <br /> REV:02-27-14 VR <br /> Page 1 of 8 <br />
