Accept the resignation of Ed Nordness from the Parks and Recreation Commission, with <br /> deep regret, and many thanks for his outstanding service to the community; (209) <br /> Mayor Howard advised that Mr. Nordness was moving out of Redwood City and <br /> therefore had to resign from the Commission. Consider a resolution vacating a portion of a 10-foot wide underground public utility <br /> easement on Marina Park Center at Redwood Shores; (606) <br /> - Affidavits of notification of publication and posting are on file in the City Clerk <br /> Department. <br /> 1) Staff report: <br /> REPORT: Lowell Sue, Senior Civil engineer, November 17, 1997 <br /> Engineering and Construetion Manager Patterson presented the staff report, which <br /> states that the owners of the property requested the termination of their public rights to <br /> a portion of the 10- foot wide underground public utility easement, and abandonment of <br /> the existing water main so they can construct a thirty-three thousand square foot office <br /> building. The owners will construct new water lines. <br /> 2) Open public hearing; <br /> Mayor Howard opened the public hearing at 7:50 p.m. <br /> 3) Hear public comment; <br /> Mayor Howard asked for public input.
