THIS SECOND POSTPONEMENT OF THE <br /> PUBLIC HEARING IS AT THE REQUEST OF THE PROJECT AND REDWOOD <br /> SHORES RESIDENT LAVERNE ATHERLY. <br /> MIS: HARTNETT/BUCHAN TO POSTPONE CONSIDERATION OF THE PROPOSED <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM UPON DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY <br /> IN "CG" ZONING DISTRICT, LIDO NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIFIC PLAN UNTIL 7:00 P.M., <br /> DECEMBER 18, 1997 IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER, 1017 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD. <br /> CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE OF MEMBERS PRESENT <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 97-235 <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 7. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST (203) <br /> This item limited to fifteen minutes. <br /> A. Council Member Leipzig referred to a Report from the City of Belmont, titled Roads <br /> 2000 or 2009, A Blueprint for Pavements, Hillside Slippage, and Storm Drains prepared <br /> by Transportation Data Systems, which reported PCI (pavement condition index) results <br /> which listed Redwood City as having a PCI index of 52 (out of a 0-90 index). Council <br /> Member Leipzig asked staff for a full copy of the Report, and a short report on what the <br /> index means and if the numbers are accurate. Council Member Leipzig referred to an <br /> October 14, 1997 letter to the California Transportation Department frorn Public Works <br /> Services Director Ingram discussing the PCI issue, especially on El Camino Real (a state <br /> highway.) Council Member Leipzig asked for a report from staff regarding Redwood City <br /> streets and the PCL <br /> MEMO 12/9/97 <br /> City Manager Everett said that he and Director Ingram were addressing this issue and <br /> stated that CaITrans had been totally unresponsive to their requests.
