She asked staff to find out more about it and suggested Redwood City might <br /> be able to do something like that for all the merchants of Redwood City, as well as tell <br /> people that the downtown was still open through all the current construction. <br /> MEMO 12/9/97 <br /> City Manager Everett agreed, and said that the City had recently sent a big spread sheet <br /> to four local newspapers advertising Redwood City downtown, similar to what San Carlos <br /> had done for its downtown. <br /> D. Mayor Howard reported on the hugely successful, best ever City sponsored Employee <br /> Christmas Dinner held last Saturday night.
