7.1.E. - Page 15 <br /> Task 2.07 - Quality Assurance Inspection: Consultant shall confirm compliance of the plans and <br /> specifications by conducting daily inspection with its staff or members of the subconsultant <br /> staff utilizing the conformed set of plans and specifications, responded RFIs that impact these <br /> documents, and City standards, if applicable. <br /> Materials and equipment shall be inspected by Consultant upon delivery to confirm compliance <br /> with the contract documents and the approved submittals. <br /> If work is performed which is deemed to be in non - compliance the City will be notified by <br /> Consultant after discussions with the Contractor. If work is not corrected, Consultant shall <br /> recommend withholding payment for that portion of work. <br /> Photographic documentation will be recorded by Consultant of important aspects of the work <br /> as it progresses. <br /> Consultant shall monitor the installation and maintenance of the construction Best <br /> Management Practices by Contractor. <br /> A daily inspection report shall be prepared by Consultant that will summarize the work <br /> performed, issues that need to be addressed, itemized summary of the contractor's labor force <br /> and equipment in use and idled. Also included will be summaries of important discussions with <br /> local residents and business owners, and the weather conditions for that day. <br /> Consultant shall confirm that the materials and equipment being installed is in accordance with <br /> the plans, specifications, and approved shop drawing /product data submittals. Any portions of <br /> the work not conforming to project specification shall be noted and discussed with the <br /> contractor by Consultant.
